To Kill a Mockingbird

This book was written by Harper Lee and talks about the issues of race in the south during the Great Depression. To Kill a Mockingbird shows racial injustice among people of class and reveals the courage of the youth.

This book is a great example of defending what you believe in and standing up for what is right. Lee writes about the influence that people have on others and the negative problems that existed in the South.
